JohnChow.com is holding a Blog Contest. He’s currently in a competition with another Blog heavy-weight to see who can get the most RSS subscribers in the month of October. He needs your help to win the competition and is offering over a dozen prizes randomly to all of his RSS subscribers.

Here are a couple of items being given away:

To enter, you’ll need to subscribe to his RSS feed and check it every day for the rest of this month. Then you need to blog about it. Link to his contest post and/or to the post announcing the RSS competition and link to his RSS feed so your readers can sign up to it. There is an example provided below. After you’ve done that, send him an email with the link to the post. Once confirmed you’ll be added to the drawing.

Prija is trying to make a movie about blogging. To gain some exposure, he is offering a free backlink opportunity on his Cash For Comments site.  All you have to do is blog about his movie site at Blogging the Movie.  It can be positive or negative.  But if its negative he would love to have your feedback. More details can be found here. Use his contact page to send him the URL to your post and your backlink will be on the next batch of his promotion. Cash For Comments is currently ranked 15K on Technorati. You can follow his example below.

Blogging the Movie is one crazy idea from Prija the Sneaky Bastard.  He plans to travel the world to meet 10 bloggers and film their life as they blog.  The movie will film blog related companies and the 10 bloggers.  The movie will showcase how blogging is changing the way we consume information.
